Giorgio Bulgari
Born in New York, Giorgio Bulgari was raised in Rome and educated in the US before settling in Geneva. Giorgio’s world is multi-national and multi-faceted, with passions for art, architecture, travel and food all influencing his design and entrepreneurial ethos.
Giorgio’s family tree is filled with role models who helped define the Italian jewellery aesthetic, from his great-grandfather Sotirio Bulgari, who founded the legendary jewellery house in 1884 in Rome, to his father Gianni, who headed Bulgari from the 1960s to the 1980s and was a key creative force for the brand.
Giorgio studied advertising and art history in Boston, working in finance before joining his father in the luxury industry and collaborating with Salvatore Ferragamo on the Italian fashion house’s debut fine jewellery collection. Giorgio then spent four years at Marina B as creative director before embarking on his own entrepreneurial journey.
Since 2017, Giorgio has harnessed his lifelong experience in gemstones and jewellery design to create bespoke jewels for private clients. In 2023, Giorgio added a new dimension to his creations with the launch of two collections.
