Giorgio Bulgari
Born in New York, Giorgio Bulgari was raised in Rome and educated in the United States before settling in Geneva. He studied advertising and art history in Boston, working in finance before venturing into the watch and jewellery industry.
Giorgio hails from a distinguished lineage that has significantly shaped the Italian jewellery aesthetic. His great-grandfather, Sotirio, founded the legendary jewellery house Bulgari in 1884 in Rome. He first began working with his father, Gianni – who headed Bulgari from the 1960s to the 1980s – on a watch project and then on several innovative jewellery collections. Subsequently, he joined Marina B, the jewellery brand founded by his late aunt, Marina Bulgari, as Creative Director. This experience sparked his desire to create his own brand.
Giorgio started creating bespoke, one-of-a-kind jewels for private clients in 2017. In 2023, he introduced his first collections, Palma and Goccia, which made their debut at Dover Street Market in London.
